Fromage & Figue
Fromage & Figue is an artisan fromagerie and delicatessen opening in Liverpool. It needed a website that felt as considered as the shop, and one that could take real orders and run itself day to day.

- Hand-coded front end with a Supabase database and admin, and transactional email through Resend.
What I built
- A complete ordering flow: browse the collection, fill a basket, choose collection or delivery, and pick a date and time.
- A custom admin area where the owner manages products, orders and the blog without touching any code.
- Automated emails for every step: an order confirmation to the customer, an alert to the shop, then "ready to collect", "on its way" and cancellation messages.
- A journal with its own editor, so new articles can be written, scheduled and optimised for search from the admin.
- A pairing guide and gift section that give customers ideas, not just a product list.
How SEO was handled
- Page titles and headings built around the shop and its Liverpool location.
- Clean, readable URLs for every page and every article.
- A sitemap and structured data that update automatically when a new article is published.
- Descriptive alt text on photography and optimised, responsive images to keep pages fast.
